Miniature Bleuette 301 in her Wedding Gown
This doll is sold but orders are now being taken.

 .

Here is a miniature reproduction of the sweet Bleuette 301 with real upper lashes and painted straight down lashes just like the original 301.

This little Bleu’s outfit is inspired by one of her Déguisement outfits of a Wedding Dress costume that was published in the French magazine La Semaine de Suzette in 1908. Miniature Bleuette loves to play dress-up and dreams of her wedding day.

Miniature Bleuette’s wedding gown is made of white china silk and French cotton lace. Her veil is made from silk illusion netting which is so soft to the touch and drapes meltingly over her gowns train. Tiny silk ribbon roses adorn the top of her veil. Matching roses make up her bouquet, which is attached to her hand by tiny elastic. Delicate pearls are interspersed with the roses. Mini Bleu has little white shoes with pearl trim. She wears her mothers pearl necklace and even wears a blue garter to have “something borrowed and something blue”.

Note: The outfit is not removable.

Mini Bleuette 301 measures a mere 2 3/8 inches tall. She is perfect as a doll for your special larger Bleuette or as a special dollhouse doll in a miniature scene.

Created by IGMA Artisan and Certified Doll Artisan, Lucie Winsky, this little Bleuette is made of the finest porcelain and is an all-bisque doll. She is jointed at the neck shoulders and thighs. Extra care and detail was put into the making of her. Special attention to details like fingernails and polishing of the bisque for a smooth surface adds to the value of this tiny doll. Delicately china painted features were fired in a kiln up to 6 times to build up a natural coloring.

Here is a very zoomed in picture of her little face. Notice the detail painting on the eyes and the real eyelashes. Her face is only about ˝ inch tall and smaller than your thumb nail. I carved the little teeth in the greenware stage with the tiniest tools and much magnification. You can see the fine painting on the teeth, lips and even nose dots. I use an original Bleuette 301 as a painting guide.

The miniature Wedding Bleuette doll comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is packaged in a gift box with a mini print of the cover of an issue of the French magazine La Semaine de Suzette on the top.

This sweet little Bleu is sure to make a wonderful addition to your collection and comes from a smoke-free home.
