A Girl with a Watering Can

This doll was inspired from Renior’s famous painting  “The Girl with a Watering Can” circa 1876.

This little girl is 3 1/2 inches tall (1/12 scale). Her costume is made of blue silk tafetta and French lace.  Pearl buttons adorn the front of her dress. A large triple white silk bow is tied at the back of her dress. She has tiny pearl buttons on her boots. Her light red hair is made of viscose and topped by a red silk bow. Miss Renoir is holding her porcelain watering can in one hand and some daisies in the other.

Created by IGMA Artisan and Certified Doll Artisan,  Lucie Winsky, this doll is made of the finest porcelain. She is able to bend at the elbows and knees. . The china painted features were fired in a kiln 6 times to build up the correct coloring.

Here is a very zoomed in picture of her little face.

This little girl will make a wonderful addition to your collection and comes from a smoke-free home.
